Coconut Chutney:

Ingredients:

½ cup Shredded Frozen Coconut or Fresh Coconut

¼ cup Roasted Chana Dal

1 inch Ginger

1 Medium Garlic

6 Green Leaves

Salt to Taste

2 Medium Green Chilies

1 cup Hot Water

Steps:

  1. Add all the above Ingredients into the blender; add little by little water (hot water; if frozen coconut) and grind them finely.
  2. If you want watery chutney then add the entire water; otherwise add ½ cup of water.
  3. Remember friends; always use hot water if you are using frozen coconut means.
  4. Serve with dosa or idle or vada or bajji.
