Mushroom 65:

Mushroom 65

I like this Indo-Chinese dish… Easy to cook and yummy to eat…

Mushrooms 4 oz.

Oil to fry

To make batter:

5 tbs. All Purpose flour

3 tbs. corn flour

2 tsp. black pepper

Salt to taste

>>Mix all the above items into water and make a fine paste.

>>Add water little at a time(careful while adding water).

To make sauce:

1 tsp. oil

½ medium size red onion chopped roughly

½ red pepper/capsicum roughly chopped (you can use any color or all colors combined)

2 cloves of garlic finely chopped

1 tsp. tomato ketchup

1 tsp. chili garlic sauce

Soy sauce to taste

¼ tsp. black pepper

Salt to taste

  1. Clean the mushroom using the paper towel to avoid hard time while frying them (remember: don’t use the water to clean the mushroom).
  2. Coat all the mushrooms into the prepared batter.
  3. Once the oil is ready, start frying the coated mushrooms until golden brown.
  4. Once finished frying all the coated mushrooms, then take a frying pan add oil followed by chopped red onion and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Then add chopped garlic into it and wait for another 1 minute and then add the chopped capsicum and cook for 1 minutes.
  6. Then add the tomato ketchup, black pepper, salt and all the sauces.
  7. Add the fried mushroom and mix them well.
  8. Garnish with spring onion.
  9. Serve hot with fried rice.

Don’t overcook the sauce mixture :-) .
